Who are you?

What’s the false identity that you have been putting on each day of your life?
Does it sounds like this?
Broken. Shattered. Too big. Too small. Lazy. Undisciplined. Not talented enough. Not smart enough. Not _____ enough.
You’ve spent years trying to be better and for a while it seems to work. But the same patterns keep landing you right back where you started – at who you think you are – at your false identity. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results…insanity.
You can’t take it anymore. Running out of breath and running out of patience with yourself. But, Heaven hears you.
God has been running to you and alongside you this whole time. He’s waiting for you to lay your armor down. To stop running. To stop the same cycle of exhaustion. To stop defining yourself by your false identity.
God is already waiting for you. Patiently waiting. He is a gentleman.
But you are the one who needs to open the door and make an exchange.
Exchange your heart for His.
Exchange your desires for His.
Exchange your life for His presence living within you.
You were hand-picked, woven and crafted by your Heavenly Father before you were even placed in your mother’s womb. He breathed life into you. He branded your identity into your heart, He picked you out of iniquity and anointed you.
It is worth battling the gates of hell to become who you are DESTINED to become.
It is the most worthy thing that you will ever do.
It’s time to stop trying to be like everyone else. It’s time to stop trying to prove to this world that you fit in. You were born to stand out. You were born to be a misfit. Stop saying yes to cyclical, insane living. Stop pursuing what it is that the world says you need in order to be happy … they are all lies. Lies to distract us from our Father’s love, His plan for us.
You, my darling, are royalty. You’re a daughter (or son) of the Most High. You’ve been given the keys to the Kingdom, you’re His child, after all :) Why are you running around like a thief when you hold the keys to the Kingdom in your hand?
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 Peter 2:10
